Vis medicatrix naturae: The healing power of nature.

Naturopathy is founded on the principle that the body possesses an innate intelligence and capacity to heal when given the right conditions.

Rather than viewing disease as something to suppress, naturopathic medicine seeks to understand why symptoms have developed in the first place. Every symptom is part of a larger story—one that reflects your unique physiology, genetics, environment, lifestyle and life experience.

As naturopaths, we don't simply treat a diagnosis; we treat the person living with it. By understanding the interconnected patterns that have shaped your health, we work to restore balance and create the conditions for long-term healing and vitality.

Functional Testing

When clinically indicated, functional testing can help us look more deeply into what may be contributing to persistent, complex or unexplained symptoms.

Rather than testing for the sake of testing, I use it selectively to investigate patterns across hormones, digestion, nutrient status, metabolism and other areas of physiology, helping to create a clearer and more individualised picture of your health.

Testing may include:

  • Comprehensive pathology interpretation — looking beyond individual markers to understand patterns across your results

  • Comprehensive stool and microbiome testing

  • DUTCH hormone testing — assessing sex hormones, hormone metabolites and adrenal patterns

  • Organic Acids Testing (OAT) — providing insight into nutrient needs and aspects of cellular and metabolic function

  • Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) — assessing mineral patterns and potential imbalances

  • Nutritional and micronutrient assessment — investigating nutrient status where deficiencies or increased requirements are suspected

Testing is never a prerequisite for care. Recommendations are made based on your presentation, health history and whether the results are likely to meaningfully inform your treatment.
